Job Summary
JOB DETAILS
Starting Base Salary: $18 per hour plus $1 per hour shift differential
Shift: 2nd Shift 4:00pm- 2:30am Monday-Friday (weekends based on business need)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for an experienced Forklift Driver to join our window manufacturing this role you will safely transport and stage glass racks sheets and finished products to keep our production lines running smoothly.
- Operate forklifts to move glass products within the facility
- Stage and deliver glass to cutting assembly and shipping areas
- Handle glass carefully to prevent damage or breakage
- Perform daily equipment checks and report maintenance needs
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Loads/Unload Trailers
- Double stack 72x96 Glass Racks on Top of each other
- Load cullett boxes and load on trailers/write a bill of Lading
- Change out propane tanks
Qualifications :
- 1 year of forklift experience (glass or fragile material handling preferred)
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain one
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
