Job Summary
Work Qualifications:
- Formal education: No specific educational requirements.
- Experience: No specific experience required.
- Computer Skills: Must be able to use common office software systems computer operations relative to data entry and ERP system.
- Certificates and Licenses: Royal forklift certification required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure proper packaging of the parts according to contract carrier and customer specifications.
- Able to read and understand contracts and specifications.
- Work in customer portals to ship items as required by contract and customer requirements
- Inspect and check all paperwork for accuracy prior to shipping any parts.
- Examine and inspect containers materials and products to ensure that packing specifications are met.
- Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of shipping procedures routes and rates.
- Work with various departments especially scheduling to communicate schedule requirements for on-time shipment.
- Coordinate with packagers.
- Maintain customer relations.
- Package materials as required by customer specifications.
- Examine contents and compare with records such as invoices to verify accuracy of outgoing shipments.
