About the role

This position collaborates with the Learning & Capability team members to uplift the TACs capability and performance through the design and delivery of contemporary learning programs and interventions to enhance the learning experience and culture across the business.

The Senior Consultant will partner with Divisional Senior Leaders to drive strategically aligned learning and capability investments that enable individual team and organisational development.

This position will be aligned to the Health Safety and Wellbeing (HSW) and the Diversity and Inclusion (D&I) programs of work. The position will lead the co-design of our HSW Learning Pathway as well as learning and capability uplift aligned with our I&D plans and initiatives including the Access and Inclusion Plan Gender Equity Action Plan Disability Learning Pathway and our First Nations Cultural Awareness Pathway.

About the Team

Reporting to the Senior Manager Learning & Capability this role sits within the Learning and Capability Branch in the People Culture and Engagement division. You will be joining a collaborative supportive and outcomes focused team who are committed and passionate about the work they do and the change they lead for the TAC and employees.

You will be supported by a Manager who promotes a highly supportive engaged and trusting team culture.

What were looking for

Significant experience in design and implementation of Learning & Development Programs including:

  • Proven experience working with teams to align learning plans and investments to capability strategy and organisational goals
  • Demonstrated experience in the successful management of senior stakeholder relationships to design and deliver programs that improve people capability
  • Demonstrated application of L&D best practice methodologies models and frameworks
  • Good knowledge of Employee Experience human centred design and agile practices.

Proven project management experience

Project Management experience in establishing project plans setting goals and tracking performance

Advanced communication and consulting skills

Proven communication and consulting skills across a range of stakeholders including developing communications material and plans understanding stakeholder needs and managing stakeholder relationships in order to deliver tailored programs which meet business needs.
