We are seeking a detail-oriented and scientifically driven Analytical Scientist to support Extractables and Leachables (E&L) testing in a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. This role involves operating advanced analytical instrumentation (GC-MS LC-MS ICP-MS) performing rigorous data analysis and authoring high-quality technical documentation to support regulatory compliance and client deliverables.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform E&L testing using GC-MS LC-MS and/or ICP-MS in a GMP-compliant laboratory.
- Analyze complex data sets to assess product safety and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Author clear scientifically sound technical reports protocols and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and verify test results for accuracy and consistency with regulatory standards; escalate anomalies as needed.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with cGxP and GDP standards.
- Calibrate verify and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation and methods.
- Support method development and validation including protocol drafting and documentation.
- Participate in training activities both as a learner and mentor with a focus on documentation best practices.
- Maintain lab supplies enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and cross-functional teams to support project goals and timelines.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline with 2 years of industry experience or a Masters degree with relevant experience.
- Hands-on experience with GC-MS LC-MS and/or ICP-MS instrumentation.
- Demonstrated experience working in a GMP-regulated laboratory.
- Proven ability to write and review detailed technical documentation.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency with LIMS and data analysis software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced regulated environment.
- Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
