About the Role
As Sous Chef youll be part of our talented kitchen leadership team working closely with the
Executive Chef to guide and support the kitchen team. Youll play a key role in developing and
executing our culinary concepts ensuring that every dining experience from breakfast and lunch
to à la carte and events delights our guests and reflects Amerikalinjens high standards of quality
creativity and hospitality.
Youll also be part of the hotels extended leadership team collaborating with other department
heads to drive development efficiency and growth across Amerikalinjen.
Your main responsibilities:
Lead and support the kitchen team in daily operations
Ensure high standards for taste presentation and overall guest experience
Contribute to strategic menu development and seasonal concepts
Oversee hygiene safety and food control routines (HACCP)
Train and motivate chefs apprentices and kitchen staff
Manage ordering stock and cost control
Who You Are
Several years of experience as a chef including leadership responsibility
Strategic mindset with a genuine passion for creating memorable guest experiences
Structured dependable and solution-oriented
Up to date on culinary trends and inspired by creativity
Fluent in English; Scandinavian language is a plus
