• As a Senior Data Solutions Engineer you design build and manage end-to-end data solutions in Azure. You ensure reliable data pipelines advise stakeholders and translate complex data challenges into practical solutions.
• By making data accessible and usable you help Jumbo make smarter decisions. This improves processes optimizes the supply chain and indirectly contributes to a better customer experience in stores and online.
• You work within the Supply Chain Data team on a robust data platform. Together with engineers and analysts you build solutions that enable self-service BI analytics and machine learning across the organization.
• You collaborate with business stakeholders data analysts engineers and vendors. Together you drive data-driven optimizations and knowledge sharing within the Jumbo Data Community including tools such as Databricks Unity Catalog and CI/CD automation.

As a Senior Data Solutions Engineer in the Supply Chain domain you play a key role in developing Jumbos data-driven future. Youll manage the flow of structured and unstructured data in Azure and contribute to our centralized cloud data platform (Data Core) used across the entire organization to deliver insights that drive business value.

Youll collaborate with business stakeholders data analysts and engineers to translate complex data challenges into practical solutions. You are the bridge between business and technology.

Your responsibilities include:

• Designing building and maintaining end-to-end data solutions in Azure.
• Transforming validating and making data from multiple sources accessible and understandable.
• Advising business stakeholders on how to make the best use of data in their domain.
• Collaborating with teams to identify and deliver on data requirements.
• Ensuring high-performing automated and monitored data pipelines that meet CI/CD and DevOps standards.
• Identifying opportunities for data-driven optimization within processes and customer interactions.
• Actively contributing to knowledge sharing within the Jumbo Data Guild and our Data Community.

Youll be part of the Supply Chain Data Team working on a future-proof and robust data landscape that empowers business teams to apply self-service BI cost management and machine learning.

Youll also support our Data Community with expertise in Databricks Unity Catalog and automation using GitHub Actions and Terraform. Together we make sure Jumbos data platform continues to grow and innovate.

• A bachelors or masters degree in Data Engineering Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Data Engineer or Data Solutions Engineer.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate business questions into data-driven solutions.
• Experience with Azure Databricks Unity Catalog GitHub Actions Terraform and PySpark.
• A strong sense of data quality and how to ensure it in collaboration with data domain teams.
• Curiosity and passion for the latest technological developments and innovations.

• A gross monthly salary between 5700 and 7300 (based on 40 hours).
• An annual bonus of up to 7.5% of your yearly salary based on company objectives.
