Job Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Registered Nurse Cardiovascular Operating Room for an exciting job in Fort Myers FL.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care during cardiovascular and open-heart surgeries.
Perform both scrub and circulate roles in the operating room.
Prepare and maintain a sterile surgical environment ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during procedures anticipating needs and maintaining efficiency.
Monitor patients vital signs and hemodynamic status throughout surgical procedures.
Document all aspects of care accurately using Epic EMR.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient safety and outcomes.
Adhere to infection control standards and facility policies at all times.

Requirements:

Education: Graduate of an accredited Nursing program.
Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required.
Skills: Must have scrub and circulate experience in a Cardiovascular OR setting.
Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Systems: Proficiency in Epic EMR.
Preferred: Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred.
