Position Summary
An Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing practical and efficient administrative support.
In this role you will:
- Perform routine administrative tasks such as emails filing photocopying accepting/arranging deliveries and couriers room bookings catering and mail sorting.
- Order and maintain stationery kitchen supplies and databases.
- Provide ad hoc catering support during meetings and events.
- Arranging room and building access.
- Respond to standard enquiries on UNSW administrative practices.
- Cooperate with all health and safety policies and procedures of the university and take all reasonable care to ensure that your actions or omissions do not impact on the health and safety of yourself or others.
A person engaged is generally expected to have the following skills and experience:
- Prior administrative or operational/logistical work experience.
- Attention to detail and organisation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software and other online systems.
- An understanding of and commitment to UNSWs values and objectives.
Additional Pre-employment checks required for this position
This casual position will support the team through to the end of the December 2025 ideal for someone who is seeking flexible and short-term work.
