Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in High Point NC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with occupational therapy activities as prescribed by the supervising therapist.
- Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
- Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home strategies.
- Document patient care progress notes and therapy outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with therapists and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain therapy equipment and a safe treatment environment.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Current and valid COTA license in North Carolina.
- Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Strong communication interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred.
