Job Summary

Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Location: High Point NC
Type: Contract
Pay Rate: From $32/hr

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an exciting Travel or Local job in High Point NC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients with occupational therapy activities as prescribed by the supervising therapist.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Educate patients and families on adaptive techniques and home strategies.
  • Document patient care progress notes and therapy outcomes accurately and timely.
  • Collaborate with therapists and healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
  • Maintain therapy equipment and a safe treatment environment.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Current and valid COTA license in North Carolina.
  • Graduate of an accredited OTA program.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification.
  • Strong communication interpersonal and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or long-term care settings preferred.
