Banking Operations Manager Payment and Deposit

What youll do:

• Responsible for supporting the Senior Payment and Deposit Operations Manager and Directors to ensure seamless operations. Handle escalations customer concerns and operations challenges promptly and effectively while reinforcing and exhibiting superior client service through appropriate and timely collaboration with internal and external clients.
• Contribute to the development of banking operation solutions by evaluating requirements studying system capabilities analyzing alternative solutions and documenting processes. Prepare policies procedures workflows process improvements etc. for review and approval by management for use in Banking Operations ensuring compliance and policies that affect the organization.
• Monitor and optimize workflows and reporting to improve efficiency reduce errors and enhance service delivery. Develop and implement strategies for process improvement and cost optimization.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations internal policies and risk management protocols. Collaborate with internal audit 2LOD risk and direct management to demonstrate adherence to controls and produce required documentation.
• Lead motivate support and develop a team to achieve company goals and objectives. Set clear expectations and performance goals for team members. Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance providing feedback coaching and training. Manage workload distribution and prioritize tasks to ensure efficiency. Responsible for hiring coaching performance management training and development.

What youll need:

• 10 years of related experience in Banking Operations or similar field.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required.
• Previous leadership experience required.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of general banking operations including deposit operations loan administration treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services.
• Intermediate to advanced knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations rules and regulations industry standards and practices.
• Advanced knowledge and experience working in high-volume or critical issue customer service roles with prior experience in similar functions.
• Advanced speaking and writing communication skills.
• May require up to 25% travel.
