Thermo Fisher Scientific currently seeks a Laboratory Analyst ( QC Technician) to work at our clients GMP site in Wavre this role you will perform routine QC testing on vaccine samples in development using a variety of analytical methods such as chromatography and electrophoresis.

Your responsibilities are to:

• Plan and organize your daily laboratory activities with guidance from senior team members ensuring required materials reagents and equipment are available and properly validated

• Perform routine quality control testing in compliance with GMP standards and laboratory safety requirements

• Analyze review and document test results clearly and accurately

• Maintain laboratory documentation in accordance with established procedures

• Complete laboratory notebooks and logbooks and support investigations or corrective actions when deviations or anomalies are observed

• Communicate results observations and issues effectively within the QC team

• Support day-to-day laboratory operations including reagent management and equipment monitoring

• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives such as method optimization process improvements technology transfers and scale-up activities

• Take part in training sessions knowledge-sharing activities and laboratory seminars to support your professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with a scientific orientation (Chemistry Biochemistry Biology etc.)

• First hand experience working in a regulated laboratory (ideally in chromatography (HPLC/UPLC) and/or electrophoresis gel / SDS-Page / capillary electrophoresis...) in a pharmaceutical or associated environment

• Analytical mind detail-oriented and demonstrated excellent critical thinking abilities.

• Ability to work in a team and willingness to embrace change and innovation

• Fluency in English and French languages
