Join HealthX as an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse and take your skills to the diverse and welcoming communities of the Hunter New England Local Health District (HNE LHD). These short-term contracts offer excellent pay flexibility and the chance to deliver essential emergency care across some of NSWs most scenic regional and rural locations.

About the Role
Provide high-quality emergency nursing care across a range of facilities within the Hunter New England region. Youll respond to diverse clinical presentations work alongside skilled local teams and make an immediate impact where it matters most.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver safe efficient emergency and acute nursing care
Conduct triage resuscitation and emergency interventions
Perform cannulation venepuncture and medication administration
Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold local protocols

Tamworth Hospital
Armidale Rural Referral Hospital
Manning Base Hospital (Taree)
Muswellbrook Hospital
Singleton Hospital
Scone Hospital
Narrabri Hospital
Gunnedah Hospital
Moree Hospital
Inverell Hospital
Tenterfield Hospital
Gloucester Hospital
Barraba Bingara and other rural multipurpose sites
(Placements depend on operational needs flexibility to work across multiple sites is highly valued.)
What youll need
Current AHPRA Registration (Registered Nurse Division 1)
Minimum 2 years recent Emergency Department experience
ALS certification and strong resuscitation/triage skills
Current working rights in Australia (non-sponsorship role due to urgency)
