Schedule: Part-Time (approximately 20 hours/week onsite)

About the Opportunity:
Join Augustine Angels in supporting the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs by ensuring excellence in patient-centered cancer treatment. We are seeking a Board-Certified Chief Therapeutic Medical Physicist (ABR or ABMP) to oversee all physics operations within Radiation Oncology ensuring compliance with VA AAPM and NRC standards.
Responsibilities:
- Direct and coordinate all physics activities for Radiation Oncology.
- Oversee QA for linear accelerators treatment planning systems and dosimetry equipment.
- Perform acceptance testing calibration and commissioning of new equipment.
- Provide technical expertise in IMRT IGRT SRS and HDR brachytherapy.
- Ensure compliance with radiation safety standards and VA medical policies.
Qualifications:
- Ph.D. or M.S. in Medical Physics or related field.
- ABR or ABMP Board Certification in Therapeutic Medical Physics.
- Minimum 5 years of clinical experience including supervisory duties.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to pass VA VetPro credentialing and background checks.
