Job Summary

Are you passionate about supporting people with mental health needs to live fulfilling independent lives Were looking for eight dedicated Senior Mental Health Support Workers to join our teams across Swansea where your compassion and motivation will help shape brighter futures. These are permanent roles offering 35 hours per week with a competitive hourly rate of 13.17. Are you ready to make a real difference to peoples lives Wed love to hear from you!

  • 35 hours per week.

  • 13.17 per hour 23972 annual salary.

  • Double pay rate on Christmas Bank Holidays

  • Full UK driving license is required

We do not offer sponsorship.

About the role

As a Senior Mental Health Support Worker youll play a key role in supporting individuals with complex mental health needs in a supported living environment. Youll work directly with individuals in both long- and short-term supported living services coordinating care plans and ensuring the highest standards of person-centred support and achieve personal goals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing emotional and practical support tailored to individual needs

  • Supporting with daily living skills medication and appointments

  • Promoting independence dignity and choice

  • Acting as a key worker and providing person-centred support

  • Supporting individuals with daily living medication tenancy management and wellbeing

  • Facilitating care reviews and maintaining safe clean environments

  • Working flexibly across services including evenings weekends and sleep-ins

We welcome previous experience working as Customer Assistant Hospitality Volunteer Housing Care Worker Home Care Assistant Health Care Assistant Home Carer Social Care Worker Mental Health Support Worker Senior Support Worker Recovery Worker Residential Support Worker Youth Worker Social Care Worker Community Support WorkerComplex Support Worker Voluntary Worker. If you have transferable skills from education nursing or social work wed love to hear from you too.
