Draughtsperson

The opportunity

Downers Energy & Utilities business is seeking a detail-oriented Draughtsperson to support our telecommunications projects by producing and maintaining accurate network records. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity of design and as-built documentation across multiple systems supporting both field and office teams. Youll work closely with internal stakeholders and customers to refine record systems and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

We are flexible on location for this role and are open to applications from candidates based in Wellington Auckland Palmerston North or Christchurch.

What were looking for

• Proven experience in telecommunications network technologies and practices
• Proficiency in GIS and CAD software ideally within a telecommunications or utilities environment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A proactive approach to learning and mentoring
• Experience with customer software systems and a sound understanding of financial parameters in draughting
