Shift Supervisor A Shift

Centrotherm Eco Systems is looking for a dynamic individual to fill our shift supervisor position. The individual will be responsible for leading our manufacturing and warehouse team including production receiving picking and packing. The shift hours for the role will be Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm.

Job duties:

• Supervising operations on the manufacturing floor to achieve efficient output and hit target KPI goals.
• Working closely with the Manufacturing and Logistics Manager to organize monitor and prioritize tasks to meet production and warehouse goals.
• Ensuring optimum efficiency by laying out efficient workflow identifying inefficiencies keeping the team focused and motivated and evaluating manufacturing cells.
• Communicating effectively with other shift production supervisors to ensure unity between shifts and improve shift change efficiencies.
• Helping to ensure the flow of raw materials and other resources.
• Tracking KPI performance of each manufacturing cell and reporting finds to the manufacturing manager.
• Organizing training and educational manuals for the production team.
• Overseeing that every manufacturing employee receives ample training so that they can excel in their intended role.
• Collaborate with HR and review pre-screened resumes for potential new hires schedule and conduct interviews and help with new hire onboarding and training.
• Ensuring compliance with safety and professional standards within a facility.
• Communicating effectively on safety concerns and assisting in the implementation of safety initiatives.
• Driving the implementation and following of 5S and continuous improvement principles.
• Maintaining communication between employees and management to ensure procedures and policies are well-understood.
• Treating both the individuals on the manufacturing floor and management respectfully at all times to ensure clear communication and understanding on all sides.

Job Requirements:

• A high school degree is required. An associates degree is preferred.
• Two to three years of work-related experience including shop floor management production planning and manufacturing supervision.
• Experience in lead or supervisory positions required.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook Excel & Word is required.

• Must have attention to detail for continuous mental and visual attention.
• Must be a good communicator and motivator. Must be able to follow verbal and written communications/directions.
