Grounds Maintenance Supervisor
Location: Scarborough
Salary: Above Real living wage

Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for the outdoors Were looking for an experienced Grounds Maintenance Supervisor to take charge of our grounds and tree works operations.
Youll lead a dedicated team ensure top-quality results and keep our sites looking their best safely efficiently and on time. From planning and resource coordination to mentoring staff and maintaining client relationships youll be at the heart of it all.
What youll be responsible for:
- Supervise and support grounds maintenance and tree work teams on-site
- Plan and schedule daily workloads ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and on time
- Carry out quality checks to maintain high standards across all sites
- Monitor health and safety compliance including RAMS permits and site inspections
- Coordinate staff subcontractors vehicles machinery and equipment
- Provide training mentoring and performance feedback to team members
- Communicate effectively with clients attending meetings and resolving any issues on site
- Identify and price additional works where required supporting continuous improvement
What were looking for:
- Proven experience as a Grounds Maintenance Supervisor or Team Leader
- Strong background in landscaping grounds maintenance or horticulture
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
- Confident communicator with a hands-on leadership style
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
