Job Summary:
The Student Counselor / Academic Sales Executive is responsible for managing student leads counseling prospective learners coordinating with academic teams ensuring smooth admissions and maintaining student engagement and retention. The role combines elements of sales academic advising and relationship management to drive student success and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead Management & Counseling
Handle inbound and outbound leads effectively through calls emails and walk-ins.
Counsel prospective students on program offerings eligibility and career outcomes.
Understand student needs and recommend suitable academic programs.
Maintain updated records of all inquiries and follow-ups in CRM systems.
2. Sales & Conversion
Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets.
Convert qualified leads into enrollments through effective counseling and persuasion.
Collaborate with marketing teams to optimize lead quality and conversion.
Conduct presentations webinars and counseling sessions to drive admissions.
3. Academic Coordination
Liaise with academic and operations teams for student onboarding and class scheduling.
Ensure accurate documentation and timely communication between departments.
Support students in understanding academic requirements and policies.
4. Reporting & MIS
Prepare daily weekly and monthly reports on lead status conversions and revenue.
Track counseling effectiveness and identify process improvement areas.
Maintain accurate and updated records in CRM/MIS tools.
5. Student Engagement & Retention
Conduct orientation and engagement activities to ensure smooth student transition.
Follow up on student satisfaction and address academic or administrative concerns.
Support retention strategies through proactive communication and support.
