Job Summary

Development Engineer

Grove Design is a long-established Engineering Design Consultancy based in Pembridge Herefordshire with strong skills in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering Product Design and Analysis.

We are seeking a full-time Development Engineer (40 hours per week onsite) who will be responsible for assembly support and assistance with project prototypes as well as providing feedback to the design department on opportunities to contribute to mechanical and electronic design. Other duties include 3D printing and Workshop coordination.

The candidate will get the chance to work with and learn from an inspiring team of engineers. We are looking for someone who

Probably has an engineering qualification (HNC or HND or a degree) but attitude/engagement is more important;

Enjoys tinkering (working on a hobby (or hobbies) that enhances their skill set)

Enjoys a hands-on practical approach and is eager to support the building of prototypes and test new designs in our workshop;

Is eager to have the opportunity to lead workshop activities and enhance workshop efficiency.
