Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging hands-on instruction in HVAC systems maintenance troubleshooting and safety best practices.
- Teach both classroom and lab-based courses using an established curriculum.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate attendance and performance records.
- Support a diverse student population with varying levels of technical experience.
- Stay up to date with current HVAC technologies codes and best practices to continuously improve course content.
- Collaborate with program staff and leadership to enhance student and program success.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Associate degree in HVAC Mechanical Engineering Technology or a related field OR equivalent industry experience with professional certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of hands-on HVAC experience in residential commercial or industrial environments.
- EPA Section 608 Certification Required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for mentoring students.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. No sponsorships will be provided.
- Must live within a commutable distance of Brecksville OH.
