CARPENTERS

Key Duties: Cut shape and join wood and other materials to construct structures and fixtures. Install framework flooring roofing doors windows and cabinets. Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings. Measure and mark materials accurately. Perform both first-fix (structural) and second-fix (finishing) carpentry. Utilize a variety of hand and power tools safely. Adhere to building codes and safety regulations. Completion of an apprenticeship or proven experience as a carpenter. Proficiency with hand and power tools common to carpentry. Ability to read blueprints schematics and construction documents. Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations. Knowledge of various wood types fasteners and construction methods. Physical strength dexterity and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.
