Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED.
BLS CPR by the American Heart Association.
Successful completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Program OR one year of Medical Assistant work experience can be substituted for the successful completion of an accredited medical assistant program.
Must have Phlebotomy skills
Bilingual Spanish highly preferred
In summary the Medical Assistants primary responsibilities include providing direct patient care handling patient registration scheduling appointments and performing various office-related tasks.
Must obtain at least one (1) of the following Medical Assistant credentials within 6 months of hire date:
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)

COMPENSATION
Pay Range: $20.05 - $26.81 per hour
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience qualifications education location licensure certification requirements and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
