Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias)
Location:London
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off (excluding Sundays)
On-Call: 1 week in 4 circa 3months after starting
About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Shift Engineer with an electrical bias to join our team at a static site in central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a professional facilities management environment supporting the smooth operation of building systems and ensuring compliance with safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across electrical systems and general building services.
- Maintain and troubleshoot systems including:
- Pumps
- Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
- Air Handling Units (AHUs)
- Minor plumbing works
- Water hygiene systems
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and site-specific procedures.
- Participate in the on-call rota (1 week in 4) following an initial onboarding period.
Qualifications & Experience:
Essential:
- 18th Edition Electrical Qualification
- Control of Legionella (dated within 2 years) or similar awareness certification
- Proven experience in building services maintenance
Desirable:
- Fire door inspection qualification
- Multi-skilled across other building systems
