Our Outside School Hours Care service Bletchley HClub is looking for a passionate Permanent Educator to assist the service and provide engaging programs for our primary-age children. This is a permanent part-time opportunity offering 15 hours per week (guaranteed minimum).
You will work across split shifts to support the services operating hours of Monday Friday 6:30am 8:30am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:00pm 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can pick up extra hours during the school holidays too!
About the role
Working in a team of Educators you will have support of a Coordinator to seamlessly run before and after school care for children aged 5-12 years:
- Facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM sport cooking art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
- Foster healthy relationships with children the school community and parents
- Work with a team of skilled Educators onsite
Who are we looking for
We can teach you about the job and sector but a few basics you need to have:
- Enjoy working with kids
- Strong and clear communication
- Team player with a desire to become a service leader
- Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (well pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
- Obtained or studying towards a relevant qualification to work with kids in OSHC per ACECQA
- Australian work rights
- Were committed to ensuring our employees are included in the Early Childhood Worker Retention Grant and have applied to participate.
