Farm Management Specialist

Are you ready to shape the future of dairy farming through data innovation and advisory excellence As a Farm Management Specialist at Lely youll play a pivotal role in the development of our Farm Management Support (FMS) propositions. With over 50.000 Lely robots operating globally your insights will enhance farm performance and product development. 

You will be part of the global FMS team working closely with colleagues across disciplines and regions to define what advisors and farmers need to be successful. Youll translate those needs into practical solutions like training materials tools and validated propositions that truly add value. You enjoy working in a collaborative environment engaging with service teams engineers data analysts and commercial proposition managers. 

Your responsibilities include: 

• Advising and monitoring innovation projects using your dairy expertise. 
• Providing third-line support to ensure continuity and drive improvement. 
• Developing training programs and lead knowledge sharing sessions. 
• Analyzing and visualizing data to support farmers developers and service teams. 
• Translating field insights into input for commercial proposition development. 
•  Supporting major product rollouts. 
• Collaborate across departments in a matrix setup requiring strong organization integrity and purpose-driven decision-making.

Qualifications :

You bring a deep understanding of dairy farming combined with a passion for collaboration analysis and knowledge sharing. Youre motivated to help farmers and advisors thrive and enjoy turning practical experience into actionable insights. 

You bring: 

• A completed education in the field of agriculture specializing in Animal and Livestock Farming.  
• Preferably you have gained international experience in farming or are willing to take that step. 
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience in the dairy industry. 
• Solid understanding of automation in dairy farming (milking feeding health); knowledge of grazing systems and barn design is a plus. 
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and other digital tools. 
• Strong communication skills and a drive to turn expertise into training and knowledge assets. 
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken. 
• Availability to work from the Lely Campus in Maassluis at least 3 days a week and willingness to travel nationally and internationally up to 10% of the time.
