Job Summary
What do we do in BioPharma Chemistry Method Development & Validation:
The BioPharma Chemistry method development and validation department establishes analytical methodologies that will be used to test pharmaceutical products. Methods may be established using client provided conditions analytical conditions observed in the literature or may be developed from scratch. After methods have been established they are put through a series of experiments to ensure they perform as intended. These activities are called validations (supporting late phase products) or early phase validations (supporting early phase products).
Center of Focus:
- Method development team members will establish method conditions that meet the intention of the analytical method
- Method validation team members perform a series of tests to ensure the method is appropriate for its given function. Tests performed may include precision accuracy linearity specificity and sensitivity.
- The majority of the methods the group establishes are chromatography based.
By interning in the Method Development and Validation team you will assist the laboratory team in preparing for analytical testing of pharmaceutical products to ensure safety and compliance or method establishment of new analytical procedures. Responsibilities include day to day lab set-up retrieving samples for testing working in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) preparing solutions and standards and performing applicable testing. Additionally the intern will have the opportunity to gain experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Exposure to and Gain Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and industry standards
- Hands-on Laboratory experience with analytical chemistry techniques and instrumentation
- Exposure to all areas of Eurofins- potential for networking and learning in other areas
Qualifications :
Must be a current college student working toward relevant scientific degree.

Position is Full-time varied shifts/hours. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Lancaster PA are encouraged to apply. No relocation assistance will be given.
