Summary
The Lube Technician will be responsible for performing quick service and routine maintenance to ensure vehicles are in optimal condition.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes filter replacements and fluid top-offs for customer vehicles.
- Conduct tire inspections including patching tires and checking air pressure.
- Inspect and replace air and cabin filters as needed.
- Ensure vehicle fluids (brake transmission coolant etc.) are at proper levels.
- Perform quick inspections of belts hoses and other basic vehicle components.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment adhering to dealership and industry standards.
- Make certain all equipment is in proper working order especially the lifts.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.
Pay:
Qualifications :
- 6 months of experience as a technicians helper apprentice technician or lube technician in an automotive dealership or service shop.
- Basic understanding of automotive systems components and maintenance procedures including oil changes filter replacements tire rotations and fluid checks.
- Experience using automotive tools and equipment such as wrenches oil filter wrenches and socket sets to perform tasks efficiently and safely.
- Must have own set of tools (basic hand tools wrenches sockets)
- Ability to work collaboratively with other technicians service advisors and customers along with strong communication skills to explain maintenance needs and recommendations clearly.
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Must be authorized to work in the USA
- Must be willing to undergo pre-employment compliance requirements: Drug testing background check MVR.
