Job Description
Primary Responsibilities
Plan schedule and assign daily maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimal downtime.
Supervise and mentor maintenance technicians providing guidance feedback and performance evaluations.
Maintain preventive maintenance programs logs and schedules to ensure consistent equipment reliability.
Lead daily maintenance meetings to review priorities address safety concerns and align with production needs.
Coordinate maintenance efforts with operations engineering and safety departments to meet production goals.
Oversee contractors and service providers ensuring quality compliance and cost control.
Monitor budgets parts inventory and procurement to support maintenance operations.
Enforce company safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and environmental regulations.
Identify skill gaps and arrange technical training for maintenance personnel.
Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance work orders inspections and repairs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a proactive maintenance culture.
Provide hands-on support with complex maintenance tasks when needed.
Additional Qualifications/ResponsibilitiesJob Requirements
Skilled in diagnosing repairing and installing pumps motors conveyors belts pulleys and related components.
Must be able to stand walk bend stoop and perform repetitive movements for up to 12 hours per day.
Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. regularly and operating forklifts and maintenance tools safely.
Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude for safe precise equipment operation.
Willing to work overtime weekends or alternate shifts as needed.
Commitment to safety quality and teamwork.
Occasional travel (less than 10%) for training or site support.
Education & Experience Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience including 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
Technical diploma vocational certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred.
Strong knowledge of mechanical electrical hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
Experience using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for scheduling and reporting.
Effective leadership communication and organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset.
