Job Overview:
We are looking for a General Service Technician who is energetic upbeat and has a positive attitude. The technician we are looking for has to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing whats right for our guests.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- General Service Technicians / Mechanics perform all maintenance and repair services including but not limited to; oil changes tire rotations battery replacements suspension alignments and more
- Perform state-mandated vehicle emission and safety inspections in accordance with state regulations
- Work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively
- Complete full accurate and honest courtesy digital vehicle inspections
- Ensure all preventive maintenance reports are complete and accurate
- Comply with federal state and local regulations that affect service operations such as hazardous waste disposal and OSHA right-to-know
- Assist in all housekeeping functions as directed by Management
- Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate the extent of any damage or malfunctions on a guests vehicle
- Follow and promote our high standards of safety cleanliness and organization
Qualifications :
Qualifications:
- Must have a current drivers licenses in good standing
- Must have tools that enable you to complete repairs described above
- Must be comfortable working with computers and tablets
- State Vehicle Inspection Certification is preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicles needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
- Drive manual transmission vehicles
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
- Efficiently navigate a computer
