Undergraduate Placement Year 2026 – Commercial & Industrial Intern

You will join a small professional office-based team who provide aftercare support to our commercial and industrial customers. You will take part in the daily scheduling of our field teams and all aspects of their work.
In this role you will be responsible for:
As a Commercial & Industrial Intern you will be given the required support and opportunities to develop your skills to become a key member of the team.
Following training you will become responsible for assisting with the day-to-day planning of the Commercial & Industrial Field Teams. A key team focus is the continual improvement and implementation of processes.

Qualifications :

Please note that to be eligible for this role you must be an undergraduate student seeking a placement year as part of your degree - if you do not meet these criteria please consider applying for other positions.
Our ideal candidate must have:

• IT skills (training is also provided).
• Proactive.
• Excellent Communication skills both written and verbal.

Our ideal candidate should have:

• Strong and relevant interest in processes.
• Good PC skills with the ability to use MS applications. Excellent communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Methodical with good problem-solving skills. Self-motivated and be able to prioritise and plan workloads. Work under pressure to meet tight deadlines. Have a flexible approach and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours: 39 hours per week standard working pattern of 08:00 17:00 Monday to Thursday and 08:00 16:00 Friday with a 1-hour lunchbreak
