We are seeking a skilled PL/SQL Developer to join our team in Berlin this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining database solutions for our archive and output systems as well as integrating various systems within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in PL/SQL development and a passion for creating efficient scalable database solutions.
- Design develop and maintain PL/SQL stored procedures functions and packages for data archiving and output management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate various systems and ensure seamless data flow
- Optimize database performance through efficient query writing and index management
- Implement and maintain data archiving strategies to ensure long-term data accessibility and storage optimization
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data migration and integration
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of development standards and best practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database management and system integration
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL development with at least 3-5 years of experience
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle database systems and SQL
- Experience with database archiving output management and system integration
- Solid understanding of data modeling database design and optimization techniques
- Proven ability to write complex SQL queries and develop efficient stored procedures
- Familiarity with version control systems preferably Git/Bitbucket
- Knowledge of additional programming languages such as Java is desirable
- Familiarity with OpenShift cloud-based database systems and data warehousing concepts is a plus
