Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort are looking for an experienced and reliable Maintenance Supervisor to support our Maintenance department on a full-time basis.
In this role the successful candidate will assist in coordinating and carrying out all maintenance requirements at Oaks Sunshine Coast Oasis Resort
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist in leading and executing the preventative maintenance program to ensure optimal property performance.
- Provide hands-on support by performing repairs and maintenance as required across the property.
- Supervise and support key service areas including but not limited to electrical mechanical pest control cleaning fire protection security control systems hydraulic services and approved contractor works.
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) best practices at all times.
- Assist with stock control and supplier coordination to maintain efficient operations.
- Support in preparing quotes and scheduling maintenance tasks including minor Capex works.
- Work closely with the Hotel Manager to support the recruitment and development of the Maintenance team.
Shift Details (subject to change):
- Monday to Friday
- 6:30am start time (flexible for the right candidate)
- Weekend/afterhours calls may be required on an ad hoc basis
Qualifications :
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous hands-on Maintenance or Facilities experience preferably in a hotel environment.
- Experience supervising or supporting team members within a maintenance team.
- Strong knowledge of preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience liaising and coordinating with Contractors.
- Sound MS Office skills (including Excel spreadsheets and Word documents).
- A passion for delivering exceptional pro-active service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills combined with impeccable presentation.
- Availability to work Monday - Friday with some on-call work on weekends.
- A relevant trade or building qualification will be highly regarded.
