Job Summary:
The Nuclear Training Instructor is responsible for developing delivering and evaluating training programs for personnel working in nuclear facilities. This role ensures that all training meets regulatory requirements industry standards and internal procedures to maintain a highly skilled and safety-conscious workforce.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver classroom simulator and on-the-job training for nuclear plant personnel (e.g. operators technicians engineers).
Maintain training materials in compliance with INPO NRC and site-specific requirements.
Conduct evaluations exams and performance assessments to ensure knowledge retention and skill proficiency.
Participate in the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT) process: analysis design development implementation and evaluation.
Support continuing training initial licensing and requalification programs.
Maintain accurate training records and documentation.
Provide coaching and mentoring to trainees and junior instructors.
Stay current with industry trends regulatory changes and technological advancements.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Nuclear Engineering Physics Education or related field (or equivalent experience).
Previous experience in a nuclear facility (e.g. licensed operator maintenance engineering).
Strong knowledge of nuclear plant systems operations and safety protocols.
Experience with SAT-based training programs.
Excellent communication presentation and interpersonal skills.
NRC Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator license (preferred for operations instructors).
Certifications (Preferred):
INPO Instructor Certification
NRC Instructor Qualification
Adult Learning or Instructional Design Certification
