Silgan Containers is hiring a Maintenance Supervisor in Napoleon OH to lead maintenance operations in our high-speed manufacturing facility. This role is responsible for overseeing the repair and upkeep of all manufacturing equipment ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. The Maintenance Supervisor also known as a Maintenance Manager in some facilities will manage a skilled team of maintenance technicians electricians machinists and millwrights while driving safety efficiency and continuous improvement across the plant.

What You Will Do as a Maintenance Supervisor
Supervise a team of maintenance technicians electricians and mechanical tradespeople supporting daily production.
Plan and coordinate preventive maintenance troubleshoot breakdowns and ensure timely repairs to minimize downtime.
Partner with Production Engineering and Reliability teams to improve equipment uptime and efficiency.
Ensure compliance with all OSHA LOTO and Silgan safety policies through regular audits and employee training.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and support reliability projects.
Track work orders spare parts usage and compliance using maintenance software.
Provide leadership coaching and technical guidance to team members.
Collaborate with vendors and contractors during major repairs overhauls and installations.
What You Bring
Associate degree in a technical trade field High School diploma or GED.
At least 1 year of experience directly supervising a team.
Strong background in industrial maintenance including mechanical electrical or hydraulics and pneumatics.
Basic understanding of PLC familiarity.
Knowledge of lean manufacturing 5S and continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints schematics and technical diagrams.
Excellent leadership communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects and perform under pressure in an industrial environment
Proficiency in maintenance management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
