We are looking for a Presales Engineer to join our team in Treviso Italy.

Responsibilities:

• Design PV string layouts for residential and commercial systems.
• Provide technical support and handle design- and product-related inquiries.
• Support customers with monitoring portal questions and troubleshooting.
• Deliver training and guidance on the use of SolarEdge tools including the Design Tool SetApp and Site Mapper.
• Follow up on projects throughout all phases from design and installation to commissioning and verify system functionality post-commissioning (remotely or on-site).
• Coordinate and conduct site visits during installation and commissioning phases including:
• On-site training on mounting SolarEdge inverters and optimizers.
• Providing hands-on technical guidance and demonstrations of SolarEdge technology.
• Develop deep technical expertise in SolarEdge products system design troubleshooting and commissioning processes.
• Stay up to date with all product updates system changes and known issues/solutions within the residential and commercial product range.
• Advise installers on AC and DC installation aspects of PV systems ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

• Completed electrical engineering education at MBO (MTS) level.
• Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
• Experience in residential and/or large commercial PV systems is an advantage.
• Ability to independently design and advise on AC and DC components of large solar systems.
• Knowledge of and adherence to NEN1010 standards regarding AC and DC installations.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel PowerPoint).
• Experience with AutoCAD.
• Possession of or willingness to obtain a valid VCA certificate.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and working conditions.
• Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
• Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Strong technical competence and critical thinking ability.
• Capable of working independently across teams and with customers.
• Excellent relationship-building skills and customer focus.
• Team player with a proactive hands-on mindset and ownership mentality.
