We are looking for a Presales Engineer to join our team in Treviso Italy.
Responsibilities:
- Design PV string layouts for residential and commercial systems.
- Provide technical support and handle design- and product-related inquiries.
- Support customers with monitoring portal questions and troubleshooting.
- Deliver training and guidance on the use of SolarEdge tools including the Design Tool SetApp and Site Mapper.
- Follow up on projects throughout all phases from design and installation to commissioning and verify system functionality post-commissioning (remotely or on-site).
- Coordinate and conduct site visits during installation and commissioning phases including:
- On-site training on mounting SolarEdge inverters and optimizers.
- Providing hands-on technical guidance and demonstrations of SolarEdge technology.
- Develop deep technical expertise in SolarEdge products system design troubleshooting and commissioning processes.
- Stay up to date with all product updates system changes and known issues/solutions within the residential and commercial product range.
- Advise installers on AC and DC installation aspects of PV systems ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

- Completed electrical engineering education at MBO (MTS) level.
- Fluent in English and Dutch (spoken and written).
- Experience in residential and/or large commercial PV systems is an advantage.
- Ability to independently design and advise on AC and DC components of large solar systems.
- Knowledge of and adherence to NEN1010 standards regarding AC and DC installations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel PowerPoint).
- Experience with AutoCAD.
- Possession of or willingness to obtain a valid VCA certificate.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing tasks and working conditions.
- Quick learner with the ability to work independently.
- Highly self-motivated and able to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
- Strong technical competence and critical thinking ability.
- Capable of working independently across teams and with customers.
- Excellent relationship-building skills and customer focus.
- Team player with a proactive hands-on mindset and ownership mentality.
