Computer System Validation Expert
Experience in medical device projects with cyber security testing.
Primary Skills
- Cybersecurity in medical devices
- Embedded systems and IoT security
- Security architecture documentation
- Threat modeling techniques (e.g. STRIDE DREAD)
- Vulnerability assessments & penetration testing
- Compliance with standards: IECIECAAMI TIR 57 AAMI TIR 97
- Secure development lifecycle knowledge
- Risk assessments and secure code reviews
- Collaboration with cross-functional teams (R&D compliance regulatory)
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA GDPR HL7 (data privacy & healthcare regulations)
- SBOM management and software supply chain risk evaluation
- Secure communication protocols and encryption standards
- Cloud connectivity for medical systems
- Incident response strategy development
- Familiarity with ISO 14971 (quality standards)
