On behalf of our client we are seeking a Compliance Officer who will support the implementation of controls compliance checks and processes including advisory activities compliance monitoring and responses to compliance-related inquiries.
The Compliance Officer will execute tasks in accordance with defined procedures to ensure regulatory compliance across the company and assigned areas while escalating issues to the relevant stakeholders as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing and updating policies and procedures related to compliance.
- Monitor and review internal processes to identify compliance risks or violations.
- Prepare and submit reports to management and regulatory authorities.
- Coordinate with departments to ensure proper implementation of compliance requirements.
- Support and monitor AML / CFT (Anti-Money Laundering & Counter-Terrorist Financing) activities.
- Follow up on any observations or requests from regulatory bodies.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance standards.
- Maintain records and ensure all compliance documentation is accurate and up to date.
Requirements
Experience: 13 years in compliance risk management audit or financial services.
Bachelors degree in Law Business Administration Finance or a related field.
Preferred Industry: Fintech / Banking / Lending / Regulated Services
Language: Arabic (Fluent) English (Good).
