We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our commercial growth. The ideal candidate will be a strategic hunter with a proven track record in the Saudi logistics market specifically in selling Customs Clearance and Inland Transportation services. You will be responsible for developing new business managing key client relationships and driving revenue in line with our ambitious expansion plans.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Actively prospect identify and secure new clients across key industries (e.g. Manufacturing Retail FMCG Pharma Project Cargo) requiring logistics services within Saudi Arabia.
Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers (Logistics Managers Supply Chain Directors Import/Export Managers).
Solution Selling: Conduct in-depth client needs analyses and design tailored logistics solutions that leverage our core competencies in Customs Clearance and Inland Transportation.
Market Intelligence: Maintain a deep understanding of the Saudi logistics landscape including competitor activities market trends and regulatory changes from ZATCA (Customs) and other government bodies.
Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to negotiation and closing utilizing a CRM system to maintain an accurate and healthy sales pipeline.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Operations and Customs Clearance teams to ensure a smooth handover of new clients and that service delivery matches client expectations.
Proposal & Contract Management: Prepare and present professional proposals quotations and contracts.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelors degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain or a related field.
A minimum of 5-7 years of proven sales experience in the logistics and freight forwarding industry within Saudi Arabia.
Non-negotiable experience in selling Customs Clearance and Inland Transportation services.
Established network and contacts with potential clients in the relevant sectors.
Deep understanding of Saudi Customs regulations (ZATCA) import/export procedures and inland transport logistics.
Fluency in English and Arabic is essential.
