TheSenior Area Innovation Manager or AIMis a field-based Medtronic Endoscopy (GI) sales individual will call onMSO/IDN headquartersHospitals Ambulatory Surgical Centers (ASC)physicianoffices andwillsupporttheir assignedgeographic area. TheAIMaligns with internal and external stakeholders to execute and accelerate meaningful outcomes for strategic organizational initiativesandwill serve as a customer facing product expert. Thisposition will primarily focusonprotectingandexpanding theutilizationofMedtronicartificial intelligencethroughthe GI Genius platformby executingmarket development and sales-oriented be expected totransfer knowledge and best practices to acceleratethistechnologysadoptionto the greatersales the individual will be expected todevelopsolutions to a broad range of issues at the account levelrequiringa high degree of cross-functional interactions and leadership capability with only high-level guidance.
We are seeking a committed professional to join our team. While this is a remote position not located at a physical Medtronic site the candidate hired will be required to reside within the territory and drive to multiple accounts throughout the region. A valid drivers license is essential for this role.
This role covers a large geography including Southern California up to San Luis Obispo.

CLINICAL EXCELLENCE
Understands and delivers the clinical value of Medtronic AI platforms including published evidence disease pathways and ground truth development of algorithms.
Provideclinical product demonstrations and education in accounts through individual and group interactions to increase thecustomersunderstanding andproficiency.
Demonstrate disease stateexpertisein all areas for which the products are used.
Proactively understand and articulate clinical and journal articles in all relevant disease states regardless of study outcome and Medtronic positioning.
ADMINSTRATIVEEXCELLENCE
Comprehensive knowledge of the utility and consistent activity inCRM with the ability to present pipeline and forecasts
Consistentlycompleteadministrative responsibilities suchasexpense reports sales reports and other business requests.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience and complete knowledge of company products and services
Nice to Have
Enterprise level technical sales with life sciencehealthcareor software(SaaS PaaSSaMD)background strongly preferred
Proven consistentrecord of accomplishmentof sales successexceedinglyquarterly and yearly sales quota (Presidents Club or consistent top performer sales accomplishment rankings)

Medical device/equipment sales experience.
Experience selling to physicians in a procedural setting.
Degree with emphasis in Life Sciences Medicine or related technical field.
