In this role you will be working as a technical expert for a client working to grow a small nuclear services team in thermo-hydraulics and fluid structural interactions. This position will be responsible for developing marketing and implementing innovations to support new and existing plants/customers. This role will be supported by a dedicated business manager and a 40-year industry service base to grow the department to support an expected upturn in the industry.
This position is a permanent role that is a long term need for my client. This role must be worked on-site with occasional travel requirements to visit clients.
Job Requirements
- BS/BSE in Aeronautical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Mechanical Engineering or relevant field required
- MS/ME or PhD preferred
- 10 years of experience in nuclear power generation required (less experience required for applicants with relevant advanced degrees)
- Possess a strong technical background and familiarity with nuclear power plant operations and nuclear quality assurance programs
- Background working with fluid dynamics and fluid structure interaction-- some acoustic experience is preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to clients
