Guggenheim Securities Investment Banking is pleased to offer second-year undergraduate students the opportunity to participate in our Investment Banking Sophomore FOCUS program taking place on December 4 and December 5. The event will include an evening session on Thursday December 4 and on Friday December 5 participants will participate in daylong programming including information sessions educational panels and networking opportunities designed to help them learn more about a career in investment banking at Guggenheim. Event participation includes a mentor pairing with one of our full-time bankers and a guaranteed in-person interview on January 15 for our 2027
Summer Analyst Program.

The Sophomore FOCUS Program is open to second-year undergraduate students graduating in December 2027 or May 2028. FOCUS is geared towards individuals who have demonstrated resilience and excellence under challenging circumstances whether from a personal academic or professional perspective. Candidates must be:

  • enrolled in a four-year bachelors degree program;

  • interested in investment banking; and

  • currently authorized to work in the United States and not requiring sponsorship for work authorization.

Students should demonstrate the following:

  • a strong interest in finance and accounting;

  • the ability to take ownership;

  • creative thinking;

  • strong communication skills and attention to detail; and

  • leadership skills.
