Job Summary

Job Title: Afterschool Program Staffer Location: Saint Joseph Elementary School Schedule: MondayFriday 3:00 PM 5:45 PM or as needed by the institutionType: Part-Time $16.00/hourOverview Saint Joseph Elementary School is seeking a caring energetic and responsible individual to join our afterschool team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with children in a supportive faith-based environment and wants to make a meaningful impact during the critical afterschool - Supervise and engage students in grades PreK8 during afterschool hours - Lead and assist with activities such as arts and crafts games homework help- Ensure a safe inclusive and respectful environment for all children - Communicate effectively with parents teachers and fellow staff - Assist with snack distribution and cleanup - Maintain accurate attendance records and incident reports - Uphold school policies and values in all interactions - Ensure that all students are safely picked up from school by authorized persons and recorded as suchQualifications - Experience working with children in educational or recreational settings preferred - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to manage groups of children with patience and positivity - Must pass a background check and complete required training - The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop kneel crouch orcrawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally liftand/or move up to 50 pounds.
