How Youll Make an Impact
- Lead technical design and engineering deliverables for substation automation projects.
- Configure and test SCADA systems protective relays and communication devices.
- Perform electrical testing using advanced tools like DOBLE and OMICRON.
- Coordinate project activities across design production and commissioning phases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- Engage with customers to optimize solutions and maintain high satisfaction.
- Support project managers with technical input for proposals and risk assessments.
- Drive continuous improvement and share best practices across teams.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 10 years of experience in substation automation projects.
- Strong knowledge of SCADA protection systems and communication protocols (Modbus DNP3 GOOSE).
- Hands-on experience with electrical testing using DOBLE and OMICRON equipment.
- Familiarity with utility substation operations and standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
