Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking Licensed Master Social Workerfor an exciting job in New York NY.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients in psychiatric crisis.
Provide crisis intervention counseling and emotional support to patients and their families.
Collaborate with physicians nurses and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
Document assessments interventions and care plans in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
Facilitate referrals to community-based and outpatient mental health resources.
Advocate for patient rights and ensure adherence to confidentiality and ethical standards.
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to case discussions and treatment planning.

Qualifications

Education: Masters Degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
Licensure: Current and valid Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) license issued by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) with primary source verification.
Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of experience as an LMSW.
Preferred: Prior experience in a hospital or adult CPEP (psychiatric emergency) environment.
