Job Summary

Job Title: Registered Nurse Emergency Department (ED)
Location: Saratoga Springs NY
Shift: 3x8s (07:0019:30) 24 hours per week
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Block Scheduling: Not Available

Requirements

Active NY RN License in hand at submission
5 years recent ED experience preferred
Must be able to read cardiac rhythms and pass a hospital proctored exam
- Requires: 80% general rhythm accuracy & 100% accuracy on critical rhythms
Certifications Required:
- BLS
- PALS
- NIH Stroke (NIHSS)
EMR: Epic experience required
Experience with Omnicell medication system
Skills: Telemetry monitoring

Preferred Qualifications

ACLS
Triage Experience
Level I Trauma Experience

Schedule & Additional Expectations

Weekend and holiday rotation required per unit need
Must be willing to float within skillset at manager discretion
Minimal RTO: 7 days or less

Flu Vaccine Requirements

Flu vaccine mandatory
If requesting exemption (medical or religious) documentation must be approved 2 weeks prior to start
