Job Summary
-Read and interpret complex drawings
-Layout and fit-up of bridge and industrial steel fabrications
-Ability to perform GMAW
-Welding in accordance with AWS D1.1 and D1.5
-Adjust welding machine and techniques as needed
-Perform welding on a range of ferrous and non-ferrous metals
-Operate band saw grinder drill presses punches etc as needed
-Detect issues or defective material and report it immediately
-Maintain clean and safe work area and equipment
-Other duties as assigned
-2-3 years of experience related to welding and fabricating of medium to large fabrications
-Ability to read and interpret complex shop drawings and assemble based on those drawings
Pay Range: 30-40/hr
