The Opportunity
Are you passionate about creating a workplace where people feel valued heard and inspired Hitachi Energy is looking for an Employee Experience & Engagement Lead to join our South Boston VA Factory this role youll be the heartbeat of our employee experiencedriving initiatives that foster connection motivation and a sense of belonging. From onboarding to exit interviews youll shape the journey of our team members and help build a culture that thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement.
This is more than an HR roleits a chance to make a meaningful impact every day. Youll work closely with new hires managers and teams to ensure every voice is heard and every experience counts.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations procedures and guidelines.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Champion employee engagement and satisfaction initiatives
- Coordinate and deliver New Hire Orientation programs
- Support onboarding and follow-up with new hires to ensure a smooth transition
- Manage probationary performance evaluations
- Conduct exit interviews and analyze feedback for improvement
- Partner with the Hourly Recruiting Team on external hiring efforts
- Provide HR generalist support including coaching and employee relations
- Investigate and resolve workplace concerns with professionalism and care
Your Background
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources or related field
- 25 years of general HR experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with Workday is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication interpersonal and presentation abilities
