Electrical Engineering Graduate Scheme KBR Leatherhead

KBRs Integrated Solutions International (ISI) team is seeking ambitious and talentedGraduate Electrical Engineersto join our elite engineering group of over 60 professionals. As part of KBRsSustainable Technology Solutionsbusiness ISI delivers digitally enabled services acrossDesign & EngineeringProject & Programme ManagementProcurement & Supply Chain Integration andConsultancy. Our work spans the energy and industrial sectors includingOil & GasChemicalPetrochemicalRefining andEnergy Transition.

What Youll Be Working On

Youll contribute to projects that enhanceenergy securityand support theenergy transition with a growing emphasis on designing sustainable electrical power systems. These include electrical distribution systems for facilities involved in:

• Plastics recycling
• Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG)
• Ammonia and Hydrogen production
• Refineries and oil/gas processing plants

Our projects range from1MW to 500MW with voltages spanning230V AC to 380kV AC depending on the installation type.

Your Role and Development

Based at ourLeatherhead Surreyoffice youll be part of a dynamic electrical engineering team working on projects at various stagesfrom concept development to detailed design construction and commissioning.

Youll be joining a diverse team that includes apprentices graduates principal engineers and experienced designersoffering a collaborative environment for learning and growth.

What does the scheme involve

At KBR we love to teach and support new professionals. You will be given the latest training and tools needed to further your skills and become a key member of our thriving team. The graduate programme is IET accredited and our established mentor system will help support and advise you on your journey towards chartership.

The 2-year scheme would give you experience of a myriad of projects as you would rotate across clients. You could be offered opportunities to work across Europe Asia the Middle East and the Americas. You would be joining a large graduate global family with automatic enrollment in the vibrant KBR IMPACT network which promotes new professionals and organises social activities across all our locations

Who were looking for

We are looking for proactive and motivated graduates who:

• Have achieved a 2:2 engineering degree or higher in Electrical Engineering a Masters Degree is preferred.
• Are passionate about their discipline and its application in the evolving energy industry.
• Possess an inquisitive nature and are eager to help solve our clients problems.

• Use their initiative and are confident working independently.
• Are enthusiastic learners keen to develop their skills and knowledge.

Our Selection Process

Our Graduate selection journey begins with an in-depth review of candidate applications followed by shortlisting through phone screening and concluding with in an in-person Assessment Day at our Leatherhead offices.

During our Assessment Days you will participate in a fun group activity with other candidates deliver your own pre-prepared presentation and one-on-one interviews.
