COMPANY OVERVIEW:
MOBIS Technical Center of North America is the Research & Development Center for Hyundai MOBIS a Tier 1 supplier and an affiliate under Hyundai Motor Group. MOBIS produces and supplies a wide variety of automotive components to customers across different domains Electrification Infotainment Brake Safety Lighting Steering cockpit and front-end module etc. Mobis Electrification unit designs and develops components OBC/Inverter/Battery Pack/BMS etc. for xEV vehicles.
Role:
As an Electronics Engineer in Electrification BU at Mobis Technical Center America in Plymouth Michigan you will be part of the global development team developing electronics HW components unique for North American OE customers. These products include controllers for OBC battery system inverters etc. including the power electronics. You will be responsible for the HW development along with the core team in Korea interfacing with customers leading the technical design review with current as well as future projects and root cause analysis.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
REQUIRED SKILLS
- Circuit (PCB) Design Zuken CR-8000 (Design Gateway Board Designer Design Force) PADS Altium
- Circuit simulation : OrCAD PSIM Ltspice
- Mechanical Design : CATIA
In addition to the responsibilities mentioned above tasks relating to the following area will be assigned as required.
