The Department of Mathematics at Clarkson University invites applications for a one year full-time non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor position. We seek a dynamic and collegial scholar committed to excellence in teaching large lectures with the ability to contribute across a range of undergraduate and graduate mathematics and statisticscourses.

Clarkson University is a nationally recognized research institution known for its focus on technology innovation and sustainable solutions to real-world challenges. The successful candidate will join a supportive and collaborative department dedicated to high-impact teaching student-centered learning and interdisciplinary research.

Teaching a 33 course load per academic year (three courses each semester) including undergraduate and graduate courses in mathematics and statistics.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Ph.D. in Mathematics Applied Mathematics Statistics or a closely related field is preferred. Exceptional candidates who hold a masters degree and have extensive teaching experiences will also be considered.
Experience teaching undergraduate- and graduate-level mathematics or statistics.
Skills:
o Excellent communication and presentation skills.
o Ability to explain complex mathematical and statistical concepts clearly and accessibly.
o Commitment to inclusive teaching and student success.
